Irish Beauty Awards Winner 2019
A CASTLEWELLAN hairdresser was recognised at this year’s Irish Beauty Industry Awards in Dublin last week.
Bridgeen King, proprietor of Bridgeen King Hairdressing, won the Hair Loss Clinic of the Year award at the held at the prestigious ceremony which was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sunday December 1.
Bridgeen, who has been based in Lower Square for five years, says she is delighted to have received the reward and to see how her team’s hard work and dedication has paid off.
She said: “It’s great to be able to help so many people and to give something back. Some of our clients are very sick and have lost their hair through chemotherapy.
It’s great to see their faces light up with their new hair. It gives them a lift. When your hair looks great you feel great. Bridgeen added: “Since I won the Business All Star Award in September our salon has become recognised as being the top salon in Ireland specialising in hair loss and we now have clients that come from across the country for our knowledge and expertise.”
The awards, now in their third year, showcased doctors, dentists, aesthetic clinics, hair and beauty teams and spas amongst other that deserve their place amongst the top due to their passion for the beauty industry and dedication to excellence. Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Oceanic, said: “The awards showcased those who promote excellence, set the trends and turn any dream look into reality. These specialists inspire others when it comes to the big and competitive world of beauty. “We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their achievements and we hope that they will keep up their amazing work.”
