Hair stylist, Bridgeen King, opened the doors of her Castlewellan salon in 2015 and has since made an impressive mark on the national hairdressing scene.

The same year she opened her local salon she became the first person in Northern Ireland to receive her Masters in craftsmanship in hairdressing from London.

Throughout her 20 year long hairdressing career she has scooped numerous accolades, worked on hit TV show Game of Thrones in the past in the hairdressing department and worked alongside some of the top names in hair styling.

In 2016 she scooped Northern Ireland Stylist of the Year in the 2016 Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards, and Bridal Expert of the Year 2016 in Edinburgh.2017 she was awarded the coveted title of Hair Salon of the Year in the prestigious Ulster Tatler Awards and also at the inaugural Irish Beauty Industry Awards.

Bridgeen is also chairperson in Northern Ireland for the governing body of the Hair Council.

After scooping multiple awards and training to the highest standard as a luxury hairdressing salon, Bridgeen also established her bespoke hair loss clinic and wig boutique in 2016.

This salon is upstairs from her current salon and is dedicated to assisting women going through the process of hair loss from illness, supplying NHS approved wigs.

Prior to opening, she underwent three months of intensive training with one of UK’s top hair replacement educators, Douglas Barr.
The master craftsman taught Bridgeen in the art of dealing with hair loss, which has proved invaluable to her clients.
